GUTIKA – House Of Design is a Mumbai-based firm with new gen interior “DESIGN SERVICE” and an inordinate traditional aesthetic sensibility. It has been 12 years since we started this journey as designers.

KNOW THE FOUNDER
Gunjan Bajaj
Gunjan Bajaj, the Principal designer started this firm after her experience of working with Architect Nozer Wadia, N+S Architects and Kabir Hira Associates. With a versatile style that she developed over the years of her experience, she has already worked on a plethora of projects from villas to plush duplex homes, restaurants, bungalows and hotels in cities all across the country such as Delhi, Assam, Ranchi, Pune, Bangalore and Mumbai. She experiments with colors and often makes bold suggestions and selections such as life-sized red Buddha for decoration or an unconventional teal blue flooring.

She has immense knowledge of materials such as marbles, veneers and ambient lighting. She feels Italian marble or Onyx is not the answer to every flooring requirement. She believes in using high quality local materials such as Jaisalmer stone, Terra white and Bijolya grey instead.

All designs are ultimately molded as per the client’s tastes and requirements. With all this dedication, hard work and flair, Gunjan is definitely that designer you want on board while doing up your space.
